| My chihuahua have been carefully chosen for breeding a healthy hearty dog that closely conforms to the breed standard. There technically is no teacup chihuahua. The chihuahua breed standard calls for a dog that when grown weighs between 4 and 7 pounds. My goal is to breed a Chihuahua that will be between 4 and 7 pounds, the above mentioned breed standard. I occasionally have chihuahua over or under this size. Puppies will be posted with their estimated size according to a weight chart for the breed. Most people are familiar with this adorable breed of dog. They have a high domed "apple" head, and a short muzzle. They are a short cobby dog, with erect ears, a smooth flowing gait, graceful movements, an alert pleasant temperament. Chihuahua make excellent family pets and are strictly an inside dog, very sensitive to the cold. Chihuahua are a tiny type dog, and are considered to be the smallest breed in all of dogdom.
